About Me
My name is ZEM, er, those are my initials anyway! I have been a "Thomas the Tank Engine" fan since my mom put together a huge "Thomas"-themed birthday party for me when I turned two years old. I continued to be a "Thomas" fan until the release of "Spills and Chills and Other Thomas Thrills" because it actually scared me! I was also dissapointed in the ghost stories because I have never seen any reason for watching that kind of stuff, it is stupid in my opinion. At that time I had a collection of "Shining Time Station" and "Thomas" merchandise including almost every one of the VHS cassettes released and a lot of ERTL rolling stock and engines. I was given a wooden Brio train set for Christmas one year and decided to make my own train series, (this was before YouTube!) I scripted a few episodes at age 5 and had "Daddy as the Narrator!" (I announced just as extragavantly as HiT did Pierce Brosnan!) I only completed one episode but the 8mm tape is currently misplaced and hopefully not destroyed. "Thomas and the Magic Railroad" proved the most dissapointing of all and for around two years I ignored "Thomas", even though I created many fan fictions and fan art during that time based on "Thomas". Somehow I decided that "Magic Railroad" was just a mistake and moved on, visiting a "Day Out with Thomas" event and squealing with delight over the release of "Salty's Secret and Other Thomas Stories". Time went on and I continued to collect Thomas and Friends videos, and a lot more ERTL diecast engines were added to my collection as my family made frequent trips to a nearby hobby shop with quite the selection of Thomas and Friends merchandising. I remember quite a bit of fanfare over new arrivals "Salty" and "Harvey" at the store. There was a poster in the window with a picture of Salty and Harvey that read "Salty and Harvey are here!" I have continued to collect Thomas merchandise over the following years and now with an internet connection, I am a member of this great site and keeping up with the latest Thomas and Friends news!

What I do Here
I am removing false info and adding useful info wherever I can. I joined as "ZEM" in the early summer of 2008, I never had made any edits before then. I started a page on the Wedgewood China merchandising and made heavy edits to the Rosie page. Since then I have made a lot of wikifriends and created The Season 12 Club in September 2008.
After that I went on to create my own Thomas/TUGS forum on Forumotion.com and invited several members here to join it. During my time here, Goldenbear (the admin) was absent for a long time but did return for a short time before I got the chance to adopt the wiki. I am very pleased to say that I have been granted "sysop" (admin) status since the vandalisim had gotten quite out of hand in Goldenbear's absence.
Now, in light of Goldenbear's return, I'm continuing to help out with admin duties, such as welcoming users, deleting spam pages etc. I am also happy to answer questions, archive talk pages, and create signatures for people!

My Review of the Great Discovery
The Great Discovery is a great new movie with all the excitement and we love from Thomas, including runaway trucks, a missing character, a mine shaft, a waterfall, good music and especially good friends. My family also liked it and my baby brother danced to the music while my older brothers watched quietly and mom and dad cracked jokes about "Stanley and Friends" and "Stanley and Friends and Thomas too". It was great and I love it, giving it 5 stars!

My Fan Fiction
I enjoy dreaming up Thomas and/or TUGS fan fics but as of yet have not posted any on the internet. My fan fiction primarily focuses on minor characters such as Oliver or Proteus.
I also like to write fan fic that places Thomas and TUGS characters like Gordon and Top Hat in the same place working together.
I have been posting Thomas and Friends Comics on my forum.
