Terence Takes a Bath is an annual story

Plot

One damp, rainy day, a tree branch had become wedged between the sides of a wooden bridge near Hackenbeck Halt, causing a block in the stream. Terence is called to clear it up, but as the blockage is pulled out, the bank of the stream collapses beneath his caterpillars and he falls in. Soon Thomas is sent to the rescue and as Terence is pulled back to safety, both he and Thomas agree that it certainly makes them quits.
